We started this because
people kept asking.
Not as a business plan. Not with a pitch deck. Just people who kept getting the same call from family, friends, and eventually friends of friends — “can you help us with our marketing?”
It wasn’t a
grand plan.
It started the way the best things usually do — organically. Family members launching small businesses. Friends building something from scratch with no idea where to start with marketing. People with incredible products and zero visibility.
We kept showing up. Helping out. Giving honest advice. And it kept spreading. Friends of friends. Connections of connections. Word of mouth doing what word of mouth does when you’re actually good at what you do.
Eventually we looked at each other and said — let’s just make this official. Let’s put a name on it and do this the right way.
It started with a phone call.
Then another.
Then another.
So we made it official.
Marketing shouldn’t
put you in a box.
Every founder we’ve ever met started their business because of a deep passion for what they do. A baker who’s been perfecting her grandmother’s recipe for 20 years. A contractor who takes more pride in his work than anyone on the job site. A boutique owner who hand-selects every single piece.
None of them started their business because they wanted to learn creative media strategy or build a content calendar. That’s not what they signed up for — and that’s exactly where we come in.
Marketing shouldn’t be unaffordable. It shouldn’t be overcomplicated. And it definitely shouldn’t make you feel like you don’t belong at the table.
We built this agency to be the team that founders actually needed — not another agency handing them a package and walking away. An extension of your team. People who genuinely care whether it works.
We do things
differently.
We’ll tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If you’re overthinking something, wasting budget somewhere, or heading in the wrong direction — we’ll say it.
Every single proposal is built from scratch around your actual goals. Custom doesn’t mean expensive — it means we’re not charging you for things you don’t need.
We use the word genuinely on purpose. Your wins feel like our wins. Your frustrations become our problems to solve. This isn’t a transaction — it’s a partnership.
Why “We Mean It.”
A shared belief that the marketing industry was overcomplicating something that should feel human.
When we say we care about your business, we mean it. When we say custom doesn’t mean expensive, we mean it. When we say we’ll be honest with you even when it’s uncomfortable, we mean it.
The name isn’t a tagline. It’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
